Join The Walker School as our next Upper School Math Teacher

Are you passionate about unlocking the power of problem-solving? Do you thrive in a student-centered environment where curiosity and connection matter as much as content? The Walker School is looking for a dynamic and innovative Upper School Math Teacher who brings both heart and rigor to the classroom.

As a member of our dedicated faculty, you’ll inspire learners in courses ranging from algebra and geometry to calculus and/or statistics, working with approximately 70–100 students across five sections and up to three preps. You'll be supported by a community that values creativity, empathy, a growth mindset, and academic excellence.

We’re especially excited to hear from candidates who are eager to contribute beyond the classroom—whether that’s through robotics, athletics, or student organizations.

What We're Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree or advanced coursework (preferred)

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching high school-level mathematics

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• A love for working with students and a desire to be part of a vibrant school community

• Openness to integrating technology and innovative pedagogy
