Middle School Science Teacher

What You’ll Do

• Teach five sections of middle school science with no more than three different course preparations
• Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through interactive and inquiry-based learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and interdisciplinary connections
• Serve as a trusted advisor to a group of middle school students
• Engage in the life of the school—from faculty collaboration to student clubs and athletics
• Inspire a love for learning in an inclusive, supportive environment

What You Bring

• Mastery of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies to engage all learners
• Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning
• The ability to integrate technology meaningfully into the classroom
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
• Prior classroom teaching experience (Master’s degree or advanced coursework preferred)
